Kreuz glanced around as the rising sun woke him. He stretched, before just laying there, letting the sun bathe him in its warmth, enjoying the sounds of nature.
He must have dozed off, for when he looked up, the sun was approaching its zenith. Seeing as he was an Oblivain, he didn't have to worry about getting hurt while he slept. He just slipped into the Upper Plane before he slept, a trained reaction.
Kreuz finally decided to start his day. As he began walking in a random direction, he concentrated for a second, and slipped into the Lower Plane. After his flight from the church, he had practiced the transition between planes, until it only took a second of concentration for either way.
As for why he decided to travel in the Lower Plane? While the Upper Plane had it's advantages, Kreuz had become used to the Lower Plane, the wind blowing through his hair, the sound of animals, and the scents of the world.
As he crested a hill, the traveler spied a village in the distance. "Ah, maybe I can enjoy a home cooked meal and a bed tonight," he mused.
