The home for the northern Ælran is often bitterly cold. There are ten houses where the children stay, one for each year. The house of the captain, who oversees the establishment, is in the center. There is also a training ground, a medical house, and a mess hall.

Rodan
Rodan is the both the military and educational capital of the empire. The far north of the province consists of little more than uncharted forest because of the biting cold and other elements. Whereas, the south is full of plains and rolling hills. The capital, aptly named Anthanar, is heavily fortified and very difficult to enter without expressed permission from a lesser lord. Fort Taisto, which lies within Rodan's borders, is the certified fort for the north continent.
