A few questions...
How can you tell the difference between Humans and Aiergans, Oblivains and Aelran? I mean, obviously if you see them summon a weapon, but is there another way?
Do the Aiergans become actual physical beings, able to interact with "normal" people, when they enter the lower plane? (It was already implied in one of the new chars profile, but I wanted to check).
Can Aelrans see Aiergans?

Sanity? Worthless things like that, I would not have as long as I can remember.

I'm fairly certain most of that is explained in the Planes and Aiergans thread, but:
People in the Lower plane cannot see into the Upper plane. Except human seers. They live in the Lower and can see/interact with the Upper (I think). Oblivains are Aiergans with no past memory of themselves. Aelrans are not fully "dead" Aiergans (once again, I think) and don't have all their powers, and, as such, only live in the Lower plane.
For the changing planes thing, see my earlier question thread.

Ok, here's another question. I hope this has been thought of but if not...here goes.
Is Aelran another race, born to Aelran parents, or are they humans which have these special traits? Are Aiergans the parents?
If they are another race this could present a problem. If all the Aelrans are gathered up and sent to camps, and then executed, pretty soon the Aelran race will go byebye. That would cause Aiergans to stop coming into existence.
While we're at it? has it been a long time since the forts were put to the use they serve now, or is that fairly recent?

Its been a fairly long time since the forts. Well you see not all Aelran simply die, some are reborn (when they are executed/killed) as Oblivains or Aiergans. Anyone can have a child that is an Aelran.
To clear up some issues, I used to have a character, she was only thirteen when she died and became an Oblivain, but she resembles nothing of her former self. This is completely alright and natural for Oblivains.
