Name: Theian Gearn Makarn (known as Theian or TGM)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: He wears a blue robe with long sleeves. These sleeves conceal two blades; one of which he weilds in battle, along with the leather armor and copper armlet he wears. His face has one scar across his forehead, from a duel when his sister, Nieah Makarn III, fought him.
He's about 5'11" with long hair. The hair is a sea-green shade but with a little bit more blue. He wears worn-out shoes that he desperately needs to replace.
Personality: When you first meet him, he's cold and silent, unless you have something he wants an can get. If you do have that something, he'll be extremely friendly and try to get what he wants. You'll often find him reading a book or shining one of his two blades.
Once you get to know him, you'll wish you hadn't. He's extemely talkative, and is prone to assaulting you with an endless amount of questions. He's warm, and loves to talk about anything, from the enemy you're facing to that one leaf that's turned brown. If you like that kind of guy, great! If not, don't tell him, but don't lie about it. He hates dishonesty, and has a short fuse.
History: His parents are former fighters that make a living as treasure hunters, hunting for rare goodies and selling what they don't need. His father Haein Makarn was an assasin for a famous group while his mother Nieah Makarn II was a bowman that served in the army... until she got pregnent with Theian. They roamed together, only settling down to sell what they found, and when they realized Nieah was pregnent with another child.
The child is a girl, and, following an old "tradition", named her Nieah Makarn III. She is five years younger than Theian, and also had the green-blue hair. They settled down in order to raise the young girl. 6 years passed, and Nieah grew to be skilled with a dagger. She prefers the dagger over the sword, because, as Haein said (when Theian and Nieah were no where nearby), "There's no reason why one does fancy sword tricks when you can just shank someone and get it over with." (Which Nieah replied with, "But there's no real reason to even get close to the opponent when you can take a bow and stab them from a distance!")
Years pass, and Nieah is now ten years old, while Theian is 15. They had sailed to an island and got stranded there. Of course, their father was used to such situations, and managed to build a shelter... with Theian's help. Both Nieah II and Nieah III managed to find food. Within the next 2 months, they work on building a boat that'll take them back to the mainland. Late at night, Nieah creeps to Theian.
"Bro, wake up!"
Theian turns over. "Jeez, what is it? Why are you dressed?"
Nieah creeps in closer."Remember that blade Dad gave you? The long sword?"
Theian sits up, wondering why she's asking. "Yeah, the name is Xurpeg. Why?" He gets it out, and unseaths it.
Nieah reveals a blade, and unseaths that one as well. The blade was curved, like the edge of an axe. It's blade was not connected to the handle, instead, the metal spiked up before going back down to connect to the handle... so the blade looked like a blue lightning bolt.
Nieah replys. "Dad woke up a half-hour ago with a horrible nightmare. When I get there, he got out this blade, and told me to give it to you. He said its name was 'The Vorpal Edge: Zantetsuken' or something. He said that it was a family heirloom, and that it was once a great blade, but it had lost much of its initial power."
Theian takes the blade, seaths it again, and puts it next to him. "Alright, it looks like it can still be used. Say, isn't the boat ready?"
Nieah goes back to her bed. "Brother, I'm going to undress, please turn around. Yeah, we're going tomarrow. Good night."
Theian turns around. "Good night."
...The next day, they set out on the boat. A day after they set out, a storm comes and washes them all out. Theian wakes up next to a shore with both blades next to him. The rest of his family was missing. He cries over the loss of his father, his mother, and his little sister Nieah. Then hope hits him: They might be alive. He grips both blades, puts them at his side, and walks forward, hoping that he can survive alone now, and that he may find his family...

"Another game, Theian?"
"No thanks, I'm good."
"Alright, maybe another time."
Theian was at a poker table in the nearby pub. "Bah, that damn b****, cheating on that last game!" He cursed his bad luck, he thought he had found a surefire way to get some extra cash. Theian checks his pocket, there's only a couple of coins left. No one here needed someone to fight bandits, and the mercenary guilds had no openings, no one had died in any missions. Good new for the villagers, they can rest easy. Bad news for him, he can't get money.
"Jeez, why did I think this would be a good place for some cash?" Theian muttered to himself. Another thing he got from his old man, talking to himself when he's in a bad mood. Why didn't he stay with them, in Sacae? No, why did he not choose to use bring his bow so he could hunt for animals?
"More snow... what else is new?" He shivers and looks for his jacket. His old man, Haein Makarn, had been a mercenary, and had told him to go to Ilia, or the Western Ilses, both places had places to go for money. "Should have gone with the pirate place, everyone wants them dead." A forest was nearby, maybe there's something edible in there, something that could get him money. He runs toward the forest, so he can store some heat in the cold.
