"I agree. You should already know that my father is recalled to as a wonderous warrior, but he would not be happy if his 'fragile' daughter followed in his footsteps. War is indeed our inner nature, and I am almost sad to say that I follow under this title." Without another word she took a step away from the edge, realizing how eager it made her feel, as if jumping off the edge of a cliff would solve anything. "Llyr is a grand sanctuary, home to thousands of people of whom my father both respects and gives trust to. I just do not know how I could be of an influence without it becoming too public. If father found out, he may lock me in my quarters for the rest of the century." A smile crept upon her face as she looked over to Des again. "What is your idea by the way?"

Des made a crooked smile. He was trying to figure that out himself. It certainly wasn’t everyday that someone like Tahlia was born, and it was no coincidence that he had found her. The hard part was, trying to decide what to do with her. He thought fleetingly about having her make some nobles go to the fort, but they probably already knew what was going on. With a very large amount of luck, he might be able to arrange a meeting between the Elders and some diplomats, but that could be done without her help. Or… His eyes widened, remembering a passing conversation with his mentor. Of course. “The Oblivain,” he said, more to himself than her. “They also…advise certain members of the nobility in matters, as the Aiergan do. The thing is, whenever nobles who have Oblivain advisors meet with ones who have Aeirgan advisors, they normally don’t show; at least the ones who broke our treaty don’t. If you could just watch the nobles during one of your father’s meetings with them, an Oblivain is bound to pop up eventually. Then you could tell us, me, and the information might actually help us to smooth this whole situation out without having the Oblivains starting another war.” Des was out of breath by the time he finished explaining his plan, but he was still smiling. It was a small chance that the plan would work fully, but it was worth a shot.
(@_@ My head hurts. I just thought of that.)

"It may be possible, but how could I contact you again?" Tahlia lifted her hand, wanting to touch him, to make sure he was real, but the hand sagged as she looked down hesitantly. "I can go to the grand meeting hall, but how will I know that this eye will be able to see your kind permanantly? It isn't possible for you to just leave me to all of this, you need to be around, somewhere..what if I can't see oblivians anyway?" But she already knew the answer, of course she could. It had happened before, a deadly creature lurked through the halls near her room when she was a mere child, and all she could do was stare at it, and it didn't even notice her at all. The creature went into Cloe's room that night, Tahlia realized that Cloe could see them too, for she seemed to be conversing with it that night, the night when she lost the sight in her right eye...did the oblivian do that to her?She had always wondered. "There may be a meeting coming up soon, I heard my father talking to another noble a few days ago, he was saying something about 'The Peace Faltering'" Tahlia remembered the words her father had said clearly, the meeting would be held tomorrow.
(Too much homework aye?)

Des sighed and pushed his hair back along his head, not even noticing Tahlia’s attempt to assert his existence. He had a strong feeling that her ability would never leave. It was something that she was born with and would also die with. Judging from her half-hopeful expression when she put up her question, she knew that fact as well. “I’m going to stay around the city until this gets worked out. I have nothing better to be doing. But, I can’t go into the room with you. If an Oblivain saw me, this plan would be worth nothing. What you can do is just say to your father that you’ve become interested in politics, and then if you see an Oblivain during the meeting, just remember who it seemed to be standing close to. As for the question if you can see them or not, I’m almost positive that you can. We are…basically the same, so you should be able to.” He looked her in the eyes. “Tahlia, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to. It’s possible that you could get in danger.”

"Danger does not scare me as much as it did when I saw the first of your opposing kind." Tahlia's eyes wandered off as the wind's song sweetly caressed her ears. "I will help you, my father would love for me to follow in his footsteps, the only problem is, this meeting that we are discussing, you weren't thinking of the one that is taking place a day from now? That is when my father will be meeting with Ingia, they will be discussing....the idea of building another fort for Llyr, with Ingia's wood. Oblivians will show up right? I would think so, and I would know exactly how to sneak in without being noticed." Tahlia grinned as the plan took fold, no one would expect her for this kind of work, not even her own father.

Des sweared under his breath. He didn't think the next meeting would be nearly that close. And the prospect of building another fort was not good. There had only been two since the Peace was created. And what did she mean by opposing kind? Had she seen an Oblivain before? "Yeah, it sounds like they would show up to that, but I'm just hoping none of my kind will go." He shook his head. "Oh well. It's worth a try. How are you getting in anyway?"

"Oh don't worry yourself. My father or anyone else in the council knows of my talent, in fact, I have just found this strange talent just today." She smiled sweetly at the aiergan an looked back at the home she had known for so long. "Although, it will be a gruelling process. There are so many guards down in the meeting area, I am thinking of how I should get in myself. Tahlia swayed as she looked upon the ancient sea, the beauty it held had always stunned her, but today it was extremely beautiful. "It would have to depend on where I try to break in. Then I stay hidden from then on out." Grinning she looked at Des again. "But don't think I am just doing this for you Des, I am doing this for myself to. Some sort of assurance if you would.."
